About Our Pastoral Staff 
Pastor
Harvey Kornegay
Our church family is delighted that Pastor Harvey Kornegay accepted the invitation to be our new senior pastor. Pastor Harvey served as our interim pastor for a short while in 2005, and we soon grew to love him with his friendly, outgoing personality; interesting, dynamic sermons; and whole-hearted devotion to Christ. He assumed his pastoral duties for our church in October.
Pastor Harvey began his full-time ministry in 1991, pastoring several churches in Texas before being ordained in 1995 and transferring to the Enid Adventist church that same year. He has pastored other Oklahoma congregations in addition to serving as Oklahoma Conference evangelist. Pastor Harvey's passion for sharing the gospel has led him to conduct evangelistic meetings in Texas, Mexico, Ukraine, Venezuela, and India as well as Oklahoma. He has two grown children, Gabrielle and William.
Director of Youth Ministries
Ray Valenzuela
Our Youth Ministries Director, Ray Valenzuela, began his ministry at our church last summer. Ray came to Tulsa from Jefferson, Texas, where he was assistant boys' dean, Spanish language teacher, and recruitment director at Jefferson Christian Academy, a Seventh-day Adventist high school. He earned a bachelor's degree in theology from Union College and served as assistant pastor for a church in Kansas City prior to that.
Ray was recently married to Alyssa Seltman, one of Tulsa Adventist Academy's outstanding teachers. We are so grateful to have this friendly, talented, dedicated Christian couple on our church's staff!
